Buy this Book
Books September 10th, 2007As Supreme Ruler of the Universe, I command everyone to go out and buy Kate Perry’s new book, Project Date, which was released last Tuesday. Actually, you don’t necessarily have to go out and buy it; you can also order it off amazon(hey, I’m not a totally demanding Universe Ruler). In honor of Kate’s second book, I am posting some pictures of her trip to my house this summer.

The Piggly Wiggly was SO COOL. It’s one of those mythic icons you see in movies set in the South–I never thought they actually existed. They have a pig on the sign and everything.
Julie, it’s too bad you didn’t get a picture of me digging holes with the tractor. Maybe on my next visit.

Ooops. Sam, I guess you’re right–the Piggly Wiggly is in Muldrow, not Roland. At least, I’ll defer to you, anyway, since you should know.

Just ordered my copy of Project Date. Can’t believe I slacked on ordering it for this long. Great pics of Kate “relaxing”. Now that we know you’ve figured out how to upload photos from your camera…shoot over those pics of you, me, and Kate from Reno! It’s been YEARS already, girl!

I’m from California and I had never heard of Piggly Wiggly’s, but when I lived in South Carolina for two years, those supermarkets are all over the place. It’s kinda funny.

Hey there Kate, yes Piggly Wiggly does exist. LOL I actually own one. I was online searching for a logo for a golf tournament I am sponsoring and I happen to see your picture. When I clicked on it, to my surprise it brought me here so I figured I would say hi, so HI. I don’t know if you will actually get this since the last post I see was from 09 and here we are in 10.
